IT’S CBGB DAY!! Today is the day my new comic book comes out!

To celebrate, I did an interview with you:

1. What is CBGB: The Comic Book?

CBGB: The Comic Book #1 is a comic book by Rob G., Kieron Gillen, Marc Ellerby, and ME.

It’s one part love letter, one part distorted guitar solo, one part back room make out session, and twelve parts whiskey. Punks and drunks.

2. Awesome! When does it come out?

TODAY! Wednesday, July 21st, 2010.

3. Where can I pick one up?

At any comic book store near you. If you don’t where to find one, this handy comic shop locator service will help you out!

4. Uh…where else can I pick it up?

In LA I recommend Meltdown and The Secret Headquarters; in NYC, either Midtown Comics locations; in Chicago, Quimbys; in Portland, Floating World; in Toronto, The Beguiling; in SF, the one and only Isotope!

5. Hey, how about that CBGB art print?

That’s available today too, and it’s FREE! Limited edition of 500! If you want to get your hands on one, you have three options:

1. Go to one of these 15 comic book stores throughout the US and Canada (two stores each in LA and NYC, for example)
2. Stop by the BOOM! Studios booth at San Diego Comic Con (booth 2743)
3. Take a pic of yourself, post it online, and we’ll send one to you!

6. Why should I buy it?

Since this is my second comic, every copy that gets sold is a big deal. But we’re also really psyched on the results and think you’re gonna dig it.
