That hazard corpse lovely individual is none other than LA’s own Jennifer Ruiz, the winner of an original photo print from Saturday’s Fraggle Rock signing.
Jenn picked out this portrait of Amanda, taken at the top secret Wetshirts bunker.
On the left: Ian Broyles. Boy, he’s really let himself go!
There is a fine line between embarrassing and funny. Im not sure where this photo falls.
Needless to say it was all for the sake of The Lying Down Game. (also known as how many people can we get doing this really stupid thing)

Getting ready to head to Meltdown…
…for the big Free Comic Book Day Fraggle Rock signing.
Just like I did at C2E2 and the LA Times Festival of Books, I am gonna give away a free 8”x10” legit photo print to whoever comes up to the signing table first and says “the phrase that pays”…
I AM A WETSHIRT!!!
But this time I’m gonna do it a little different. We’re signing for four hours, from 11a-3p, so I’m gonna give away FOUR prints.
The first person to phrase me gets a print. Then at noon, it resets. And the first person to phrase me after that gets a print. And then at 1p, it resets again!
And so on. One print giveaway every hour. Just for my Tumblr peeps, because I loves you guys so.

The first person to say “the phrase that pays” to me at the LA Bookfest was none other than one of Reno’s favorite daughters, Caitlin Randolph!
(You may recognize Caitlin as a model for several of Los Angeles’ most esteemed photographers. The photo above by Schude is one of my faves of her.)
I’ll be making a print for Caitlin of any photo of mine she picks. (As long as I didn’t take it with a device that also doubles as a phone.)
You know I have another signing coming up this weekend…and you know I am going to do this again…and you know I won’t be able to resist doing it bigger and better this time…

This righteous dude is Rams from Chicago. He rolled right up to me while I was signing at C2E2 and said the phrase that pays, “I AM A WETSHIRT!!!”
How baller is that. Wetshirts all the way in the Midwest. Signs and portents. And his name is short for Ramses!
As was my promise, I am hooking him up with a photo print (he chose this one). I think I’m gonna do it again this weekend…

This weekend I am attending the droid-monikered C2E2, aka the Chicaco Comics and Entertainment Expo, aka the new comic convention in Chicago.
